OR Factory (GF Factory) OMEGA Seamaster 300 No-Regulator Movement vs. VS Factory – Which One Is Better?

Many buyers are already aware that OR Factory is the new name for the former GF Factory. Both OR Factory and VS Factory are considered top-tier manufacturers in the super clone watch market, and the overall exterior craftsmanship of their watches is very similar.

At present, the entire OR Factory OMEGA Seamaster 300 lineup is available with a no-regulator (free-sprung balance) movement, while the price has increased only slightly compared to previous versions.

Although there are some internal differences between the movements used by OR Factory and VS Factory, both are designed to closely match the specifications of the genuine OMEGA caliber. For example, both offer a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and the time-setting and date-adjustment directions are the same as those of the original watch.

Now that OR Factory has introduced a no-regulator version, it is likely that VS Factory will soon release a V5 version to remain competitive. However, owners of the current VS Factory model have no reason to worry. In my opinion, this minor modification has no meaningful impact on the movement’s actual performance or reliability. In many cases, repeated version updates are more about marketing than substantial improvements.So, which factory should you choose?It ultimately comes down to personal preference.

* If having a free-sprung balance (no-regulator) movement that more closely resembles the genuine caliber is important to you, then OR Factory is an excellent choice.

* If you have greater confidence in VS Factory’s long-established reputation for the Seamaster series, then VS Factory remains a highly recommended option.
